Hey everyone, a couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit Vendovi Island. If you've never heard of it, that's okay. Vendovi is one of many small islands in the San Juan archipelago of Washington State. The island used to be privately owned until the San Juan Preservation Trust stepped in and bought it a few years back. It's now open to the public April - September every year on Thursday through Monday. You can only access the island by private boat or charter and that makes it even better for crowd control in my opinion. It's a great little spot for a getaway for the day so if you're in the area, why not check it out? Be sure to check out the fall issue of Mount Baker Experience magazine when it comes out next month for an article and photos I did while I was there. but until then, get your fix with this short film I made.
